Bitmesh: Offline Chat

Terms of Use

Effective 25 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and the developer ("we", "us"), the developer and publisher of Bitmesh. By using Bitmesh you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Community Rules

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Do not post, send or share:

• Harassment, bullying or threats.
• Hate speech.
• Sexual content or nudity.
• Any content involving minors in a sexual or harmful way.
• Violence or gore.
• Illegal activity.
• Spam.
• Impersonation of other people.
• Doxxing: sharing someone's private information or exact location.

Reporting

• Press and hold any message, then tap Report.
• Or email onlineravens@gmail.com.
• We review every report within 24 hours.
• When abuse is confirmed, we add the person's key to the shared block list. Every Bitmesh app applies that list, so their content is hidden for everyone using Bitmesh.

Blocking

• Press and hold a message, then tap Block.
• Manage blocked people in You › Blocked.

Filter

• An on-device filter for offensive words is on by default.

2. Your responsibility

• You are responsible for what you post.
• Public rooms are public. Anyone can read them, and third-party relays may store them.
• Keep your device and your identity safe.

3. Lawful use

Use Bitmesh only in lawful ways. Do not use it to break the laws that apply where you are.

4. Termination

We may block abusive keys from Bitmesh through the shared block list. Bitmesh has no accounts, so blocking works on keys, not on people's names or details.

5. The app is provided "as is"

• Bitmesh is provided as is, without promises that it will always work or be error free.
• Mesh delivery depends on nearby phones. It is not guaranteed.
• Do not rely on Bitmesh for emergencies. Always contact local emergency services by phone when you can.
• To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for losses from using, or not being able to use, Bitmesh.

6. Licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Bitmesh on Apple devices that you own or control, as allowed by the Apple Media Services Terms and the App Store rules. You may not copy, sell or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows.

7. Bitchat compatibility

Bitmesh is compatible with the open Bitchat protocol (public domain). Bitmesh is an independent app made by the developer. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Bitchat or its authors.

8. Apple terms (EULA)

This section applies because you get Bitmesh from the Apple App Store.

• These terms are between you and the developer only, not Apple. The developer, not Apple, is responsible for Bitmesh and its content.
• Apple has no duty to provide maintenance or support for Bitmesh.
• If Bitmesh fails to meet any warranty, you may tell Apple. Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Bitmesh.
• The developer, not Apple, is responsible for claims about Bitmesh or your use of it. This includes product liability claims, claims that Bitmesh fails to meet a legal requirement, and consumer protection or similar claims.
• If a third party claims Bitmesh infringes their intellectual property rights, the developer, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
• You confirm you are not in a country under a US government embargo or listed as a restricted party, and that you will follow applicable third-party terms, such as your mobile network agreement.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. When you accept them, Apple can enforce them against you.

9. Age

You must be at least 18 to use Bitmesh.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you in your own country.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new date. If you keep using Bitmesh after a change, you accept the new terms.
